Foto: Paulina JungFoto: Paulina Jung Maggie Jung was born on a leap day in Bitburg/Germany.

She was playing in the neighbor’s cowshed (and went to bed unwashed), sat on her mother’s lap at the front in the light blue VW Beetle (There was a grasp, though!) and bombed down amidst of the street with red roller skates (dashed knees were included).

Having been fascinated by the American children next door and their skate boards (Wow! They were stunning!), she visited the (fancy and colorful) Basement Sells of the U.S. Base in Bitburg with their families and adored Peter Pan (great guy!) at the movies in American English. At young age, she started creating her first newspapers (each being a unique copy!), wrote and illustrated poems and tales.

She worked as a care worker in institutions for both handicapped and non-handicapped children, adolescents and young adults, graduated in theology and religious education and taught early education at a music school.

Since 2007, Maggie is dedicated intensively to writing. She has already published several short stories in anthologies (i.e. Hueber-Verlag, Ismaning) as well as prosperous educational and music educational supports. Apart from that, she has also composed and published children’s songs.
